Sternwheeler Hotel Rebrand

Holloway Lodging, a Canadian-owned hotel company, approached me to rebrand their hotel property, Sternwheeler Hotel, in Whitehorse, Canada. I worked directly with the client and their stakeholders to develop a new identity system for the hotel including the logo development, logo usage guidelines, color palette, typography, and imagery guidelines. Once the identity was completed, I was tasked to create a template for the sales sheets for the sales team as well as rack cards, print advertisements, and various marketing collateral including a renovation announcement flat sheet. I utilized the identity icon as a graphic element to incorporate into the landscape photography to emphasize the hotel’s breathtaking location. I also developed a pattern with the same icon that could be used in various design elements to support the identity in a functional, yet subtle way.
